Through Jan. 15 An Irresistible Urge to Create, the annual fundraiser of the Boca Raton Museum of Art, which has gone virtual this year. 24  The Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County’s 24th annual “Run for Rick” Dunn’s Run, a 5-mile and 5-K walk/run honoring the late Rick Case for his 34 years of dedication to the clubs. 7:30 a.m., rain or shine, at Ocean Way and Southeast Second Street, Deerfield Beach (or virtually, any time before Jan. 24). 30  Susan G. Komen is going virtual for its 30th Anniversary Komen South Florida Race for the Cure. The event will kick off with a Facebook live opening ceremony recognizing the 2021 Warriors in Pink and bringing together breast cancer advocates, event partners, survivors, thrivers and their loved ones for a morning of inspiration and meaningful remembrance. Immediately following the virtual opening ceremony, participants will take to their sidewalks, parks or treadmills for a safely distanced walk or run in their own communities to raise funds for the organization. 9 a.m. at  facebook.com/groups/2617129385270988. Feb. 20, 2021 Brave New World, the 2021 Gala of the New World Symphony, a virtual celebration with the theme “Resilience.” The program will be streamed on the Symphony’s website, YouTube channel and Facebook page. 7:30 p.m. Select ticket levels provide at-home catering packages and private virtual performances. April 28 and May 17, 2021 The Broward College Speaker Series, sponsored by City & Shore, featuring Abby Wambach, two-time U.S. Olympic gold medalist and one of the greatest women soccer players of all time (28), and José Andrés, an internationally recognized culinary innovator, author, educator, TV personality, humanitarian and chef/owner of ThinkFoodGroup  (17). 7:30 p.m. BrowardCollegeSpeakerSeries.com.

Feb. 25-27, 2022  The Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance, presented by Mercedes-Benz and AutoNation and sponsored by City & Shore, benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. Auto enthusiasts will have a chance to view the Marque of the Year, Pre-War Chrysler & Imperial, Coach Built and several Features of the Year:  Chrysler & Imperial post-war 1946, 1957, 1958-1975; 100th Anniversary of the Springfield Rolls-Royce and 1961; Morgan three-wheelers and Jaguar “E” Type 60th Anniversary.
