Buyers seeking a new home in central Palm Beach County can now check out the six decorator models at Villamar at Toscana Isles in Lake Worth. Delray Beach-based developer Akel Homes recently held a grand opening for the models at the 208-home project, located at 4725 Via Bari, and the first residents will take occupancy in March or April, according to Alexander Akel, the firm’s president. The homes, which range from two to six bedrooms, include one- and two-story floor plans, with chef’s kitchens complete with gas ranges — a rarity for new construction in South Florida. The homes also boast smart-home features and impact-resistant windows. Community amenities include a clubhouse with resort-style swimming pool, tennis court, tot lot, fitness center, entertaining kitchen and lounge areas as well as a walking path. Prices currently start in the low $400,000s. Contact: 561-359-5988, akelhomes.com/c/villamar.
