It’s one of the world’s few common languages, but it’ll be the pictures that do the speaking at an exhibition opening April 13 at the Pérez Art Museum Miami. With a nicely timed run through Sept. 2, folding in this summer’s World Cup, The World’s Game: Fútbol and Contemporary Art explores soccer’s affect on global societies as seen through the video, photography, painting and sculpture of approximately 20 artists.
