Madisons brings taste of New York to Florida

They may not hail from New York, but the folks behind the new Madisons New York Grill & Bar know a thing or two about “timeless elegance and contemporary flavor.” It was those aspects of New York City — the classic yet modern ambience of Madison Avenue — that inspired Madisons’ owner Steve Tsatas to open the first Madisons New York Grill & Bar in 2004 in Montreal and bring his version of the taste of New York City to Quebec. Fourteen locations later, the Montreal, Quebec-based Madisons New York Grill & Bar group turned to the U.S. market and launched the first South Florida location in Boca Raton.

Located in the space most recently occupied by Stephane’s on Executive Center Circle, Madisons New York Grill & Bar offers a diverse menu of American classics, from USDA Prime meats, fresh catch-of-the-day fish and appealing entrée salads to enticing homemade desserts. The emphasis is on fresh and local, with sauces, desserts and dressings made from scratch daily. “Nothing comes from the freezer except ice cream,” Tsatas says.

“I’m more excited than ever for the opening of our Pompano Beach location,” says Tsatas, who has been a successful restaurateur since 1994. Set in a waterfront location on East Atlantic Boulevard also owned by the Madisons group, Madisons New York Grill & Bar Pompano Beach will boast a 10,000-square-foot facility with a 250-seat waterfront patio scheduled to open in late 2014/early 2015.
