Cirque Dreams ‘Fantasy’ at Broward Center

By Deborah Wilker

The first show of its kind to ever play on Broadway, Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy arrives at The Broward Center for the Performing Arts for eight shows beginning Tuesday July 22. The circus and special effects spectacular features the usual jaw-dropping maneuvers by an expert cast of aerialists, gymnasts, dancers and musicians, performing in this case among giant magical flowers, trees and exotic animals.

All of it comes to life under the expert watch of special effects wizard Neil Goldberg – the Pompano Beach-based theatrical producer whose live spectaculars have been staged at theme parks, sporting events (including The Super Bowl), casinos, on network television, cruise ships and in theaters around the world for two decades.

Tickets $34.50-$74.50, excluding handling fees; 954-462-0222, browardcenter.org. For a sneek peek at the production, check out cirqueproductions.com
