With so many trends to choose from, putting a wardrobe together for spring can be more than a little daunting. The key to navigating the runway looks is to cherry pick the best pieces from each and mix them in a way that works for you. That’s the difference between being a style-conscious consumer — and a fashion victim.

Here are the 12 key pieces I think will make a great addition to almost anyone’s wardrobe for spring.
