At The Estates at Acqualina on Sunny Isles Beach – where prices range from $4.2 million to $9 million for an apartment, $19 million to $35 million for single-family homes and penthouses and $2.5 million for a 600-square-foot cabana down by the pool – Alexandra Wensley shows off some of the amenities at the massive luxury project, scheduled to open in 2020.
“There will be 245 luxury apartments [in two towers] with fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld designing the lobby interiors,” said Wensley, vice president of communications for the Acqualina Resort & Spa on the Beach and The Estates at Acqualina. Between the two towers will be a clubhouse – called Villa Acqualina – with ice skating, bowling, a disco, a speakeasy, a world-class spa, a “New York traders club room” (“where they can come and check their stocks”) a celebrity chef restaurant [the only part that will be open to the public], four pools, soccer field, basketball court, dog park, “and this gorgeous beach.”
Most of the project appears only in renderings, seen here. But there’s more to see in the sleek, airy model apartment on the property, adjacent to the 5-star, 5-diamond Acqualina Resort & Spa.
