Construction is underway on a new building at Toby & Leon Cooperman Sinai Residences Boca Raton, an expansion of the 4.5-acre LifeCare Plan Community on the campus of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County. The 240,000-square-foot building will feature 111 independent-living units, and over 75 percent have already been reserved.
Operated by Federation CCRC Development and managed by LifeCare Services, Sinai Residences opened in 2016 and offers a full continuum of care, including assisted living, rehabilitation, skilled nursing and memory care.
The new independent-living apartments will be a mix of one- and two-bedroom units, along with two-bedroom plus dens (up to 3,200 square feet). The expansion is expected to meet the rising demand for larger living spaces sought after by older adults who are downsizing from houses in local country clubs. In addition to the new residences, the expansion will include updates to existing amenities, an expanded fitness and wellness center, two new dining venues and a resort-style pool.
Additional amenities at Sinai Residences include a concierge, full-service spa, salon and barbershop, sundries store, weekly housekeeping and linen service. There is a nurse on duty 24 hours a day, and a full slate of recreational, educational and cultural programs is available.
The new building broke ground last fall and is expected to be completed in the fall of 2022. Entrance fees start at $535,000. Contact: 561-338-9595, SinaiResidences.com.
