Coconut Grove-based developer Terra recently announced that 45 percent of the homes at Botaniko Weston have been sold. Botaniko Weston, a gated development consisting of 125 contemporary houses, is the first master-planned, single-family home development in Weston in over a decade. The 121-acre project, under development on a portion of the former Bonaventure Country Club golf course, features one- and two-story homes designed by architects Chad Oppenheim and Roney J. Mateu in collaboration with VStarr Interiors, the interior design firm led by tennis legend Venus Williams. Homes range from 4,200 to 7,200 square feet and include five to seven bedrooms. Over 80 percent of the development’s homes will have lakefront views, with each featuring a private pool, covered patio and summer kitchen. Community amenities include walking, jogging and biking trails. Prices start at $1.7 million, with delivery of new homes slated for 2017.
