Hilton luxe condo/hotel project to hit beach

Fort Lauderdale-based Orchestra Hotels + Resorts has launched Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach Residences, a 24-story condominium and hotel at 551 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd. that will be the first resort-style Conrad hotel in the United States. The 290-unit project, on the site of the former Trump International Hotel and Tower, will receive over $30 million in renovations and upgrades and is scheduled for completion in 2015. It will include furnished condo-hotel units (studios to three bedrooms ranging from $400,000 to $1.3 million) and decorator-ready residences (studios to three bedrooms priced from $500,000 to $6 million).
