Boutique communities offer space, luxury

By Elizabeth Rahe

A choice location, a few close neighbors, a place to make your own – boutique communities offer an intimacy attractive to many home buyers. We looked around and found several builders creating new developments with residences that are smaller in number but big on premium features, including upscale custom options, acre lots, gated privacy and expansive views.

Tucked inside a Davie neighborhood is the enclave of Camelot Estates by Lowell Homes – 19 home sites on builder’s acre lots situated on a lake and waterway, just minutes from major arteries such as Griffin and Flamingo roads. Home buyers can choose from several floor plans and elevations for four- and five-bedroom homes. Standard features include granite throughout for baths and kitchens, 24-by-24-inch porcelain tile for living areas, crown molding, stainless steel KitchenAid appliances and impact-resistant windows; however, each home can be customized with luxurious upgrades. Prices range from $879,000 to $1,095,000 for homes from 3,875 to 6,252 square feet. Waterfront locations are available. Visit or call 954-473-9188.
