Work in City & Shore Magazine has been honored with five national and state journalism awards, including first place for commentary/criticism from the Society for Features Journalism; second places for cover, inside design and commentary/criticism and third for special interest publication from the South Florida chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. The SFJ award, for a collection of work by Editor & Publisher Mark Gauert, http://tinyurl.com/lhvdd6b, will be presented at the organization’s national convention in St. Petersburg in October; the state SPJ awards, which included cover and inside design work by Art Director/Designer Anderson Greene and commentary/criticism again by Gauert, were announced Saturday at the state convention in Miami.
