 10 Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County’s 9th Annual Be Great Celebration Dinner returns to support Boys & Girls Clubs of Delray Beach’s summer camp initiatives.  10-31  History Fort Lauderdale’s Women Trailblazers presented by Memorial Healthcare System at Galleria Fort Lauderdale, a photography exhibition sponsored by City & Shore PRIME that features six prominent women of today who are proponents of change, along with their historical predecessors who helped pave the way for the community (see story pg. XX). Free and open to the public during mall hours. There is also a ticketed preview and recognition ceremony benefiting History Fort Lauderdale on March 10 at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $35.

 11 The Museum of Discovery and Science’s 25th Annual Bank of America Wine, Spirits & Culinary Celebration, an evening of live entertainment, food and silent auction packages to raise funds that will benefit the Museum’s mission of connecting people to inspiring science. 6:30 p.m. general, 5:30 p.m. VIP, at 401 SW Second St., Fort Lauderdale. Tickets start at $150.

 18 Live@Mickel, a free outdoor concert featuring Still Alive, a Pearl Jam tribute band. 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Mickel Park, 2675 NW Seventh Ave., Wilton Manors. Free. Food trucks, beverages and a cash bar will be available. 954-390-2130,


 The 35th annual Golf Classic, benefiting the Rotary Club of Weston Scholarship Fund. The event includes breakfast, golf and an awards banquet. 6:30 a.m. at The Club at Weston Hills, 2600 Country Club Way, Weston. $600, which includes golf, the awards luncheon and two tickets to the drawdown and cocktail event. $100, non-golfers.

 Feeding South Florida’s 11th Annual Outrun Hunger 5K presented by JM Family Enterprises. 6:45 a.m. registration, 7:30 a.m. race begins, at the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk, 300 Connecticut St., Hollywood. $35 until April 1, $40 on event day, students, $20.

2  16th Annual KID Duck Fest Derby Presented by JM Family Enterprises, a family-friendly event where you can cheer on 40,000 rubber ducks as they race down the New River. The event also includes a petting zoo, face painting, live entertainment and food trucks. Noon to 3 p.m. at Esplanade Park, 400 SW Second St., Fort Lauderdale. $5 to adopt a duck.

2-3  Bonnet House Museum & Gardens 13th Annual International Orchid & Garden Festival, featuring orchids, tropical plants, herbs, fruit trees, butterfly garden plants, garden art and more, sold by more than 30 local and international vendors. The event also includes food and beverages, wine, beer and cocktails. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine, at 900 N. Birch Road, Fort Lauderdale. $12, children 12 and under free. 954-563-5393,

 28 The Kip Hunter Marketing “Making REAL Connections” Breakfast, presented by Alan B. Levan | NSU Broward Center of Innovation and sponsored by City & Shore magazine, honoring local individuals and organizations that have contributed to the community and have helped 211 Broward provide vital services to those they serve. 7:30 a.m. at Global Grille at First Baptist Church Fort Lauderdale, 301 E. Broward Blvd., Fort Lauderdale. $55, $45 for CLUB 211 members,
