POSTPONED TO MAY 2022: The Kip Hunter Marketing “Making Real Connections” Breakfast, presented by Alan B. Levan | NSU Broward Center of Innovation and sponsored by City & Shore magazine, has been rescheduled from Sept. 17 to May 2022. 23 Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center’s 15th Annual Ribbons for the Children, featuring a selection of wines and hors d’oeuvres from local restaurants and the opportunity to bid on original works created and donated by local artists. 25 Hang loose at Surf N Sounds, and explore the culture of all things saltwater-related. The event features local vendors, food and drink options and music. 1 Friday Night Sounds Waves, the free live-music series on Fort Lauderdale Beach, returns for the second half of its sixth season. Bring a chair or blanket, facial covering, hand sanitizer and food/snacks; alcohol is prohibited. 6:30 p.m. at Las Olas Oceanside Park, 3000 E. Las Olas Blvd. Reserved seating areas for two, four and up to eight are free of charge and available to secure up to four hours before performance time. Jan. 10-16, 2022  The Greater Fort Lauderdale Food & Wine Festival returns, offering a full week of foodie-driven events, including the signature Grand Tasting and free Family Day presented by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. The festival also includes intimate chef-driven dinners, food and beverage classes and a few new surprises. Dates, times, venues and prices vary.

Feb. 25-27, 2022  The Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance, presented by Mercedes-Benz and AutoNation, benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. Auto enthusiasts will have a chance to view the Marque of the Year, Pre-War Chrysler & Imperial, Coach Built and several Features of the Year: Chrysler & Imperial post-war 1946, 1957, 1958-1975; 100th Anniversary of the Springfield Rolls-Royce and 1961; Morgan three-wheelers and Jaguar “E” Type 60th Anniversary.
