Who doesn’t enjoy a traditional, family-style pasta dinner?
Andy’s 15th Annual Family Pasta Dinner offers guests the opportunity to feast on pasta dishes, salad and dessert while also contributing to LifeNet4Families, an organization dedicated to providing food, ancillary services and referrals to those in need in Broward County.
The brainchild of Andy Cagnetta, CEO of Transworld Business Brokers, the event has raised more than $852,300 over the past 14 years for LifeNet4Families. Last year alone, the buffet dinner raised over $175,000.
“Hunger seems so basic and solvable,” Cagnetta says. “Literally steps from every hungry child and person in this county is a store full of groceries and food, so for someone to be hungry is ridiculous.”
Andy’s 15th Annual Pasta Dinner is a casual evening, with honorary chefs. This year, Cagnetta says the event will also focus on its junior chefs and their families, making it an event for the entire family. There will also be a cocktail hour, silent auction and activities for kids.
“Beyond this being a fun and casual event, it really counts,” Cagnetta says. “It has a direct impact. And once people join the pasta dinner family, they are hooked.”
