Three local chefs will collaborate March 24 to create a unique and elegant dining experience at the 7th Annual Ultimate Chefs’ Dinner, an event benefitting United Community Options of South Florida (formerly known as United Cerebral Palsy of South Florida).
Each chef will prepare a dish paired with wine, creating a three-course meal. After dinner, guests will have an opportunity to meet and mingle with the chefs.
The event will be emceed by Jason Jackson, television host and courtside reporter for the Miami Heat, and will also feature a cocktail reception, live entertainment and a silent auction.
“The Ultimate Chefs’ Dinner will provide cuisine like no other,” says David Perez, UCO’s assistant director of development. “This event will have an elegant three-course meal that you can’t get anywhere else – but for one night only.”
The presenting chefs include Brian Cornelius, executive chef of Grateful Palate Catering & Events; Letty Alvarez, executive chef of LA Sweetz; and Hugh A. Sinclair, better known as Chef Irie, executive chef of Chef Irie Spice, a catering service. Passed hors d’oeuvres will be provided by Shooters Waterfront, Lona Cocina & Tequileria, Tarpon River Cafe and Absolute Catering and Temple Street Eatery.
“All proceeds for this event will benefit United Community Options of South Florida, which serves children and adults with development disabilities,” Perez says. “By supporting this event, you will be making a difference to those we serve.”
The evening begins at 6 p.m. at Grateful Palate, 3003 NE 32nd Ave., Fort Lauderdale. Tickets are $150. For more information, call 305-325-9018 or visit unitedcommunityoptionssfl.org.
