From Lower Manhattan’s supertall skyscrapers to Uptown’s new pencil towers, the man-made wonder of the New York City skyline continues to evolve. Photographer Gary Hershorn has been capturing the changes for the past decade, as he says, “to incorporate the old with the new as the old gets harder and harder to see.” His exhibition, The New, New York City Skyline, at the Palm Beach Photographic Centre, is balanced by a companion exhibit, Adam Stoltman’s New York City Parks and People. The show, WE ❤️ NY: Visions & Views of Two Great Photographers, is on display at the center’s West Palm Beach gallery through Feb. 12, and can be viewed for the next year in a video on its website. workshop.org.
