Separating Florida history, myth in Boca Raton

Boca Raton Museum of Art holds a fractured mirror up to this crazy place we call home with Imagining Florida: History and Myth in the Sunshine State. Through March 24, the museum presents what it calls the most comprehensive and all-embracing Florida-themed show of its kind. The collection of 200-plus works shines the sunlight on how for three centuries the state has inspired artists, both unknown and world-renowned, most of whom were visitors spellbound by the exotic beauty surrounding them.
