The story of the past unimaginable year is wrapped up in a new exhibition of compelling images at the Palm Beach Photographic Centre, its first public event since temporarily closing last year. “The New Normal: COVID Times” is a collection of award-winning photography by ZUMA Press photojournalists from around the world. On display through July 31, the exhibition is culled from the 2021 edition of The Year in Pictures 2020: Apocalypse NOW, the annual movie produced by the exhibit’s curator and ZUMA Wire Service founder, Scott Mc Kiernan. “The New Normal” features 60 photographs in sports, entertainment and news, including the first-place winner of Sports Action and the Award of Excellence for Spot News from this year’s POYi (Pictures of the Year International) Competition, the world’s oldest and most prestigious photojournalism program.
